The Wild Threads 2021 Committee is working diligently to form partnerships and secure the best venues for our festival this year, despite the global pandemic. As things are opening up slowly on Prince Edward Island, we want to make sure that we are opening as safely as possible.
In 2019, our host hotel was Rodd Charlottetown, located in the heart of downtown Charlottetown (75 Kent Street). We are currently investigating the best options to offer our Atlantic literary guests in 2021.

WILD THREADS LOVES THE HAVILAND CLUB
Beaconsfield Carriage House was a total hit! We are hoping to use this location again.
Confederation Centre Art Gallery was a beautiful venue for the public readings, coupled with the beautiful glass artwork of Philippa Jones.
It’s all in the family in Prince Edward Island! The use of a south shore family cottage was the perfect setting for our intimate Participant’s Open Mic.
With local restos and breweries, beaches and more, Wild Threads brought our friends from away an authentic Island experience.
