follow your narrative arc to beautiful prince edward island

Wild Threads Literary Festival is a four-day celebration of creative writing, taking place both IN historic Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island and VIRTUALLY, from September 14-18th, 2022.

Presented by the PEI Writers’ Guild, this experiential lit fest burst onto the literary scene in its inaugural year of 2019.  Our festival featured prominent Canadian writing faculty in four genres: fiction, nonfiction, poetry and storytelling. Check out the year that was in 2019 here. Last year, we branched out even more. Review our 2021 starting lineup for workshops, panels, art talks and more!

Whether you work in a literary field, are an emerging Canadian author, or just enjoy the iconic books on the Canadian literary sphere, Wild Threads is the place and space to explore the more that’s out there for you on the page.

2022 schedule will be out soon – please check back.
