Wild Threads Literary Festival is a four-day celebration of creative writing, taking place both IN historic Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island and VIRTUALLY, from August 26-29th 2021.
Presented by the PEI Writers’ Guild, this experiential lit fest burst onto the literary scene in its inaugural year of 2019. Our festival featured prominent Canadian writing faculty in four genres Fiction, Non-Fiction, Poetry and Storytelling. Learn more about Faculty 2019 here. This year, we’re branching out, and we can’t wait to announce our lineup soon.
COVID-19 has compelled the world to slow to a crawl, and many writers have found solace in the reflection of the written word. If you are in the Atlantic Bubble this year, this may be your chance to escape to beautiful Prince Edward Island, otherwise we will be welcoming our guests virtually. Whether you are a professional working in a literary field, an emerging Canadian author, or a first-time creative writer, Wild Threads is the place and space to explore the more that’s out there for you on the page.
