follow your narrative arc to beautiful prince edward island

Wild Threads Literary Festival is a four-day celebration of creative writing, taking place historic Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island from September 14th-17th 2023.

Presented by the PEI Writers’ Guild, this experiential lit fest burst onto the literary scene in its inaugural year of 2019.  Our festival has featured prominent Canadian writing faculty in four genres: fiction, nonfiction, poetry and storytelling. Last year, we branched out even more to include spoken word artists and singer-songwriters, and even comedy! We will be announcing our 2023 presenters this spring. Thanks for your patience as we finalize the details!

Whether you work in a literary field, are an emerging Canadian author, or just enjoy the iconic books on the Canadian literary sphere, Wild Threads is the place and space to explore the more that’s out there for you on the page.
